Gianna Occhiogrosso, Associate, practices in the areas of family law, personal injury, criminal defense, and foreclosure defense at The Law Offices of Gilbert and Smallman. Gianna is an exceptional attorney who graduated cum laude at the top of her law school and undergraduate classes from the University of Miami. While in law school, she was selected to serve as an honorable Dean’s Fellow as part of the Academic Achievement Program. In this position, she served as a mentor in UM Law’s Writing Center, assisting law students with legal research and writing. Gianna received the Book Award, an academic honor recognizing her outstanding legal research and writing. She also excelled in oral advocacy, finishing as a finalist in the 1L Moot Court Competition.

For five years, prior to and during law school, she worked as a certified paralegal for a prestigious family law firm and commercial litigation firm. As a native South Floridian, Gianna devotes time to the community. She has assisted in fund raising for the Gift of Adoption Fund and has taught music to adults and children with special needs. Her commitment to others is shown by her outstanding ability as an attorney and strong dedication to her clients.
